Some advice about this scarf

Never put your wool scarf in the washing machine, either this one or any other 100% wool article. Especially at high temperatures, you will take the risk of destroying it. Wash it gently by hand, not too often, in cold water and always remember to dry it on a towel and flat. Not near the radiator and even less on top of it !
